The others were all either too big/small or just really uncomfortable. I love the 6 eyelet boots as I have really short legs so don’t want them too high up my calf. These sit perfectly above my ankle. As other people have said, I sized down slightly. I’m usually a 6.5 but went with advice and bought size 6. Plenty of room and perfect width. The leather is sturdy but beautifully soft. These were wearable and comfy straight from the box (very unusual for DMs. I’m still wearing in some Vegan 1461s and I’ve had them for months!) You won’t regret buying these boots.

I’m a hairdresser and I stand and walk all day so I’m very impressed. I usually take a 7 in DM boots but I sized down to a 6.5 as other reviews said they ran big. They fit really well so I would also recommend sizing down. The fact that they’re shorter than the 1460s is great for me as I have quite chunky short legs and they are more flattering on me. The leather is matte and soft but I think once they are a bit battered and weathered they will look even better. I highly recommend these boots and I would absolutely buy more colours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kay258 from Docs My partner got me my first pair of docs which I was happy about on first impressions, however I noticed that the leather on one of the boots is rather wrinkly. I know that it happens with soft genuine leather, but being brand new is this normal? Especially when there’s a noticeable difference. Having said that, they are so comfortable and didn’t really want to take them off. Stuck to my usual size which are prefect with room for thick socks.

My boyfriend brought me these for Christmas after wanting a pair for ages, I love the fact that they aren’t too high up my calf but don’t irritate or rub on my ankle! The only thing is I know I need to break them is as they are super tight at the bottom of the tongue! I also had to get a size smaller than I normally am and they fir perfectly!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Emmawells from Lovely boots but they run large! Really nice boots, soft leather so little to no breaking in required. The gold/brassy coloured eyelets make the boots look better than the usual black. I read previous reviews that said these run large so I ordered my usual size and a size down in case. They definitely run big - I’m usually a true 4 and the 3 fit perfectly so would recommend sizing down also.

Wear straight out of the box with no breaking in period. The leather is soft and thin. The height is lower and doesn’t look as bulky which is good for a short, thin personal like me. Great quality. Love them

No need to break in either so perfect! My fave doc martens thank you office

I had to buy size 4, but unfortunately those are extremely roomy, while size 3 is way to small. One the plus side: very soft leather in comparison to solofair
